He is also a trustee of Marymount University, and a member of the Federal City Council. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia College; he is originally from Alleghany County, Va, and he is the father of Mason alumna, Lori Nicely ‘83. He currently lives in Great Falls, VA with his wife and two grown children, he currently has three grandchildren. Nicely also served as a member, on the board of trustees from the Georgia Mason University Foundation.
