His second novel A Thousand Splendid Suns was released in 2007 and it spent 103 weeks on The New York Times Best Seller list including 15 weeks at #1. His third novel And the Mountains Echoed was published in 2013 and was on The New York Times Best Seller list for 33 weeks.
