He and Trina fell in love shortly after meeting in Georgia, but ended up having a rocky relationship for some time. Their marital problems were aired on several episodes of Braxton Family Values and during the show. Trina also discovered the Gabe had a sex addiction, which he was working through while their relationship continued to deteriorate. A gym fanatic, Gabe practiced Krav Maga and loved playing baseball. Trina originally filed for divorce from Gabe in 2013, but shortly after dismissed it, re-filed it, and ultimately, officially divorced Gabe Solis in April 2015. The couple has two children together. Tragically, Gabe died in December 29 at the age of 43 from cancer.
