The Cars formed in 1976 and broke up in 1988 before reforming in 2010. Their self-titled debut studio album was released in 1978 and reached #18 on the Billboard 200 chart and was 6x multi-platinum. The Cars also had success with their albums Candy-O in 1979, Panorama in 1980, Shake It Up in 1981, Heartbeat City in 1984, Door to Door in 1987, and Move Like This in 2011. Their popular singles include “Just What I Needed”, “My Best Friend’s Girl”, “Good Times Roll”, “Let’s Go”, “Shake It Up”, “Magic”, “Drive”, and more. Elliot Easton released his only solo album Change No Change in 1985.
