Kitt also won a Daytime Emmy Award for providing the voice of Cool Cat in the series The Wonder Pets in 2009. Eartha was nominated for a Tony Award for her role in the Broadway musical Timbuktu! in 1978. She was also nominated for a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for her role in the Broadway production of The Wild Party in 2000. Kitt was known for her recordings of “C’est Si Bon” and “Santa Baby”. She was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960 at 6656 Hollywood Blvd. Eartha Kitt passed away on December 25, 2008 at the age of 81.
