Founded in 1897 by Godrej’s ancestors, Adreshir and Pirojsha, the Godrej Group has since evolved into one of the biggest and definitely the oldest conglomerates in India, with a presence in a vast variety of industries. Moreover, Godrej participates in many philanthropic activities. Being a great supporter of the World Wildlife Fund in his country, Godrej has also developed a green business campus in the Vikhroli, which covers 150 acres of mangrove forest and a school for company employees’ children.
